Indian freestyler Rohitesh Upadhyay sets a new record, shattering the record that had lasted since 2002
Wheelie in motion for 567 meters in a row? Even if you are skilled motorcyclists, you will know that it is not a trivial matter. But it is something much more challenging – almost paranormal – if the wheelie is done without hands. It is therefore no coincidence that this feat, carried out by the Indian motorcyclist Rohitesh Upadhyay (long-time freestyler), entered the Guinness Book of Records by right. Upadhyay smashed the previous record of 89 meters, which had lasted since 2002. The Indian biker hit the record after making a previous attempt (not approved by the Guinness Commissioners) of 125 meters.

According to Upadhyay, the record is the result of a combination of talents: “It’s like doing gymnastics on a bike – he said – because it requires complete control of the body and the search for the correct center of gravity”. To join the Guinness Book, in addition to exercising on the bike, Upadhyay had to lose weight and devote himself to meditation.
