The Ministry of the Interior reported the end of the National Emergency Office -Onemi-, an organization that will be replaced by a new institution called National Disaster Prevention and Response Service, whose abbreviation will be Senapred.
This is a change that was approved during the previous government, of the former president Sebastián Piñera.
In this way, Senapred will begin its operations as of January 1, 2023, and the modification seeks to give greater powers and faculties to the inst situation.
