The FIGC Court of Appeal overturned the sentence of the sports judge who had disqualified the striker for two days
Victor Osimhen will be able to play Napoli-Juventus on Saturday at the Diego Maradona stadium. This was decided by the Court of Appeal of the FIGC reforming the sentence pronounced by the sports judge who had disqualified the Nigerian striker for two days for “voluntarily hitting an opponent with a slap in the face with the ball not at playing distance”.

The sanction for Osimhen for the slap on Heymans was therefore exhausted with the stop against Genoa and therefore now the attacker is back skilled and enlisted. Napoli, assisted by the lawyer Mattia Grassani, had prepared the appeal after the judge’s decision, presenting documentation, including video, to lighten the position of his player, citing some precedents in which for similar circumstances, he was chosen for a punishment softer. Osimhen will therefore be available to Spalletti for Allegri’s challenge to Juve.
