The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), read today (14) the application for the extension of the term of the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) of the Pandemic. It was the step that was needed to confirm the extension of the deadline for the commission’s work for another 90 days. The CPI investigates suspected failures of the federal and state governments in managing the fight against the covid-19 pandemic.
“I must communicate that I received a request from Senator Randolfe Rodrigues [Rede-AP] , and other senators, requesting the extension of the term of the CPI on the Pandemic for 90 days. The read application contains enough subscribers to extend the deadline and will be published so that it produces the due effects”, said Pacheco.
