Parma returns to the top of baseball in Europe: triumph over Bonn 6-4

It was since 1999 that the Emilians had not celebrated: it is the 14th European trophy. Bologna defending champion is third

The Champions Cup remains in Italy: he moves from Bologna (who finished third by beating Rotterdam 11-9) to Parma, the city with the most club trophies in Europe. And this one conquered yesterday in Ostrawa, in the Czech Republic, has the flavor of a historic conquest, if only for the very long wait: it began in 1999. For the team of Gianguido Poma, who won as shortstop, it is the 14th triumph continental against a fierce German team, the Bonn Capitals for 6-4. Parma Clima needed to win something so badly: they lost some championship finals (which has been missing in the ducal city since 2010, that is, since the conquest of the star), the Parmesans rediscover ancient emotions with this feat in the Czech land.
