The Police Brigade Homicides (BH) of the Investigative Police (PDI) of Concepción announced that they arrested a person who would be related to the death of a 21-year-old in Cocholgüe Covefrom Tomé, Bío Bío region, who lost his life this Friday morning after being attacked with a knife.
The captured is another young man, 22 years old, with no police record, which was found by the PDI in the Bellavista beach sector and will go to detention control tomorrow.
According to the head of the penquista BH, sub-prefect Óscar Alvarado, “according to the first steps and protected by the legal figure of flagrante delicto, the location and subsequent arrest of the accused was achieved, who will be placed at the disposal of the Guarantee Court tomorrow at the first hearing”.

According to data collected by the investigators, the victim had an altercation and whoever was the author of the crime took out a sharp weapon, with which he was injured in several areas of the body .
After that, the victim lost her life in a medical center.
“According to the work of homicide detectives, in conjunction with Bicrim Tomé staff, it is possible to determine that the victim and perpetrator were sharing alcoholic beverages early today. At a certain point, an argument begins, which ends when the accused mortally assaults the victim with a knife”, Subprefect Alvarado commented.
