From the July 15, 2021 will be available on Prime Video the second season of El Cid, the Spanish TV series directed by Adolfo Martínez Pérez, Marco A. Castillo, Miguel Alcantud is Arantxa Echevarría.
There soundtrack of the TV series was composed by the Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla and from Alfonso González Aguilar, who composed the music for the Oscar-nominated animated film Klaus.
The tv series tells the story of Rodrigo “Ruy” Diaz de Vivar, nicknamed El Cid, wich was vassal, knight ed hero for the Spanish crown. The story is set in the 11th century, a time when Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together on the Iberian Peninsula, facing each other in wars and forging alliances.
