Amazon Prime Video has released the first teaser of the new fantasy TV series The Wheel of Time, inspired by the famous Robert Jordan saga of novels. Let’s find out when the first season will be released, the plot and the cast.
A few days ago Amazon Prime Video released a very short teaser to announce that the new TV series The wheel of time will be available on the streaming platform by the end of the year. One has not yet been released official date, but at least we know we won’t have to wait long.
The wheel of time is taken from the homonymous saga of novels by Robert Jordan, one of the most popular sagas of all time. The tv series has already been renewed for one second season, even before the release of the first season.
The showrunner of the tv series is Rafe Judkins, while the first two episodes are directed by Uta Briesewitz, which is also among the producers of the series along with Rosamund Pike and other. The 6 episodes of the first season were shot in Czech Republic early spring this year.

The wheel of time: the plot
The Wheel of Time is set in a world whose balance of the universe is dominated by a mystical wheel. But Shai’Tan “The Dark One” wants to break the wheel for dominate the world and the only one who can stop him is a man of great power, recognized as the reincarnation of the Dragon.
