Defending champion Bayern Munich was eliminated in the Champions League on Tuesday-evening. The German team was unable to completely eliminate the home defeat in the return against Paris Saint-Germain. The second game ended in 0-1 and that was just too little after the 2-3 in Germany to advance to the last four. Only Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (ex-PSG) scored.

Chelsea is also in the semifinals of the billion dollar ball. The London club of the German trainer Thomas Tuchel lost the second game of the quarterfinals against Porto (0-1) in the home match in Seville, but could afford that.
