In Dagestan, in the Gotsatlinsky reservoir, the body of a missing tourist from Moscow was found, relatives identified his body. This was reported on September 4 at the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the region.

Prior to that, on August 27, the body of the fourth missing was found in Dagestan. The deceased young man was found 50 meters from the bridge in the village of Maidanskoe. Together with his mother in a VAZ-2107 car, he was carried away by a mudflow. The woman’s body was found earlier. Another man, a local resident, was carried away by a mudflow in his GAZelle car in the Levashinsky district. His body was found on 25 August.
On August 24, two tourists from Moscow and St. Petersburg disappeared due to a rise in the water level in the river after heavy rains in the Karadakh gorge and a mudflow.
