It’s the first role for Zellweger since she starred in Judy. Just before the corona crisis, the actress won an Oscar for her contribution to the biopic about Judy Garland.
Casey Jones – the woman who will play Zellweger – once gave up her golf career so that her husband could work as a professional in that sport. But when 25 years later her marriage seems to be stranded and her son leaves home, she decides to dust her clubs to make an attempt to become a professional golfer.
It is not yet clear whether the filming is already planned and when the film will be released.
