A 34-year-old in Russia stabbed a friend of his after learning he was a pedophile and raped his daughter. A rocket engine factory worker in the village of Vintai, Vyacheslava was drinking with his colleague, Oleg Sviridov, when he saw footage of him raping his 8-year-old daughter on the man’s phone. Vyacheslav reported him to the police and officers started looking for him. But the first to find Sviridov was Vyacheslav who, armed with a knife, attacked and killed him. He then said he found the weapon in the village forest and denied having intentionally killed it. Investigations revealed that, before being discovered, Sviridov had abused minors for at least five years earlier: videos of rape of two other girls, aged 6 and 11, were also found in his phone. Since he was arrested, the inhabitants of Vintai and the public have asked that Vyacheslava not face a murder trial, because he is entitled to kill the rapist of his daughter.

“He is not a killer: he protected his daughter and our children as well.
