Russia recorded in the last day 11,699 new cases of coronavirus covid-19, compared to the 10,407 registered the day before, according to the health authorities of this country.
This is the highest number of daily infections detected in Russia since the beginning of March.

According to official statistics, infections registered in the Russian capital, the main focus of the pandemic in this country, also continue to increase.
This Thursday, Moscow registered 5,245 cases of coronavirus, the highest number of daily positives in half a year.
With the latest balance made by the authorities, the number of confirmed infections since the outbreak of the pandemic in Russia amounted to 5,167,949.
In the last day in the country 383 people died with covid, which raised the number of deaths from the infectious disease to 125,278.
The Moscow City Council announced the day before the tightening of the control of sanitary measures to contain the spread of covid-19 in the face of the worsening epidemic situation in the city.
In addition, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobianin, affirmed that in the next few days several hospitals will be opened to receive covid-19 patients and that there are currently about 10,000 people admitted with coronavirus.
At the same time, the Moscow councilor ruled out a new confinement in the city, or closures of leisure establishments, which he asked to strictly comply with sanitary regulations.
