The Excelencia Popular scholarship program of Banco Popular Dominicano organized A visit to the immersive exhibition Tovar- Surrealismo Vivo, sponsored by the financial organization and in which 62 young people gathered, including scholarship holders and graduates of the program.
The members The Popular Excellence Awards were able to appreciate the artistic transcendence of Iván Tovar, who is the most recognized Dominican painter outside the country, the most valued in the international market and one of the great representatives of international surrealism.
This visit to the art exhibition is part of the integration activities of the Excelencia Popular scholarship program, which not only covers 100% of educational expenses, but also includes a program of initiatives and workshops that the Popular offers these young people a complement to their academic training, broadening their soft skills, knowledge of financial education, digital culture and leadership perspectives.

Call for scholarships open
Currently, this scholarship program for deserving young people with limited resources is the most comprehensive in the financial system, with 284 active scholarship holders and 255 graduates, some of them working in subsidiaries of the Popular Group.
