And if it was finally the good for Snowpiercer/ le Transperceneige ? The comic French of Jean-Marc Rochette and Jacques Lob will have the right to a new adaptation intended to come out in the series in a few weeks in the United States. The first images that come to be revealed, are particularly attractive.
Snowpiercer, the movie to the series
This video reveals many of the unpublished images that allow you to have a better idea of what is waiting for us. The general history course remains the same. In this adaptation of the work, the Ground is largely frozen and a train runs without stopping, the only shelter in a post-apocalyptic world. The fault lies, in part, to climate change and the attempt to launch missiles to free up the atmosphere. A bad decision that has plunged the world into a new ice age. The few survivors find themselves aboard a train, mixing the ultra-wealthy who have paid dearly to be there and so little people who came to the forceps and find themselves relegated to the back of the Snowpiercer.
The series is produced by Josh Friedman and the cast can notammetn count on Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, the Lord of the Rings…), Daveeed Diggs (Black-ish, The Get Down…) and Jennifer Connelly (Requiem for a Dream, Dark Water…).
Remains to know what will give this adaptation of what one can easily consider it as a literary cult. The film of Bong Joon-ho (oscar-Winning next to Parasite) released in 2013, proved to be rather compelling, but also suffered from too much linearity and some of the scenes for the less absurd have tended to spoil the experience for the fans. What hope for something better with a series that could help better develop the story.
