Today, Wednesday, the Thai Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 53 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
While it is the highest daily death toll from the virus recorded since the beginning of the pandemic.
The last highest death toll from the virus was recorded in Thailand last Saturday, with 51 cases.
This brings the total number of deaths from the virus to 2023. And the Bangkok Post newspaper quoted the ministry as saying that 4,786 new cases of the virus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
And Thailand recorded 2,415 cases of recovery from the virus during the same period. Thus, the total number of cases of infection with the virus is 259 thousand and 301 cases, including 207 thousand and 479 cases of recovery.
