After the matches against Brazil have been suspended due to sanitary conditions, the Argentine team will finally have its first two friendly matches of the Germán Portanova cycle against those led by Pía Sundhage. The current DT assumed his position on July 26, replacing Carlos Borrello, and seeks to have international filming with his sights set on the Copa América 2022, a competition that will decide the qualification for the World Cup in Australia / New Zealand 2023.
The 20 players called up by the coaching staff are already concentrated in the Ezeiza venue and will travel to Brazil tonight. The albiceleste team will arrive in João Pessoa on September 16 and will remain there until the 20th.
