
The star of Broadway’s nick Cordero (Nick Cordero) right leg amputated due from the coronavirus complications, said his wife, Amanda Klotz.
Cordero spent 18 days in intensive care, his condition worsened with each passing day. One of the complications of the disease was the accumulation of blood clots in the leg. Initially, the actor was given blood thinners, but the drug caused problems with pressure, this has led to internal bleeding.

“We got him off the blood thinners, but this again would lead to the formation of blood clots. The doctors decided to amputate the right leg,” wrote Klots.
“I got a call from the hospital and said that Nick survived after surgery, and now he’s resting. The operation was difficult, because his body is very weak,” said the wife of contractor. She also said that Cordero suffered clinical death.
Cordero was in the ICU on March 31 when he became “hard to breathe” after he was diagnosed with pneumonia. He twice gave a negative result on COVID-19, before the third test confirmed the infection.
