Abnormally warm weather in Russia will remain until the middle of the week. Told about it RIA News scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
The forecaster noted that in the European part of the country, the highest anomalies are observed in the Volga Federal District, in the east of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts. According to him, temperature anomalies in these regions are up to ten degrees. In particular, in the Volga Federal District the tempera is above 25 degrees, and on the lower Volga the air warms up to 38-40 degrees.
Vilfand also noted that the temperature in Yakutia exceeds the norm by 5-6 degrees. Hot weather is also observed in the south of the Khabarovsk Territory and in the Amur Region. The air temperature there exceeded 25 degrees.
Earlier, Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, warned Muscovites about a burst of subtropical heat.
