The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the reduction and standardization of the price of the laboratory test (PCR) in all medical facilities at the state level, to 50 dirhams, with all health centers and laboratories obligating to show the results of the tests within 24 hours of conducting the examination.
This comes with the aim of reducing the costs of examinations on society and ensuring the continuity of periodic examinations from individuals, provided that this decision is activated as of August 31, 2021.
The ministry also confirmed that it will monitor the compliance of health facilities with this decision and will also work with all competent health authorities to ensure that all examination services are provided in accordance with the specified controls.
