The third wave of covid-19 infections is in force in the state of Tlaxcala and with this, the saturation of the converted hospitals began.
In the entity, 74.19 percent of the fan beds that they have are occupied by covid-19 patients and with this, it ranks as the entity in the country with the highest saturation in this resource.
Even the report of the IRAG Network places the entity in red and is located above the Mexico City which has 69.79 percent of its infrastructure occupied to care for patients infected with the new coronavirus.
Regarding hospital occupancy in general, Tlaxcala reports so far the use of 63.63 percent of its resources and is located at the national level in the 10th place and is already in orange, which indicates that it is close to saturation .

And it is that in a recent statement the head of the Secretary of Health, René Lima Morales made it clear that if citizens do not join the fight against the third wave of infections, the outlook for the Tlaxcala state will be complicated.
The state official explained that in the state of Puebla and the Mexico City (CDMX) transit the Delta variant which is one of the most aggressive at the international level and due to communication with the border, the acceleration of infections is imminent.
It should be added that on Sunday the SESA confirmed 42 recovered people, six deaths and 97 positive cases of covid-19 from Tlaxcala identified in the state and one in another entity.
This way, the state registers 13 thousand 401 people recovered, 20,106 positive cases and 2,557 deaths.
So far, the state has registered 50,131 negative cases and 3,800 are awaiting results.
The most affected municipalities are Tlaxcala with three thousand 654 cases, Apizaco two thousand 391, Chiautempan one thousand 312, Huamantla one thousand 25, Zacatelco 948, Yauhquemehcan 661, San Pablo del Monte 616, Contla 547, Ixtacuixtla 505, Totolac and Calpulalpan 474, Tetla 455 , Papalotla 454, Panotla 434, Tlaxco 420, Apetatitlán 368.
