After neighbors denounced bad odors in Victoria, the Seremi de Salud de La Araucanía detected that a grain processing company kept decomposing products, for which they initiated a sanitary summary.
A sanitary investigation started the Seremi de Salud de La Araucanía in a grain processing company in Victoria, after detecting that it kept decomposing products that were generating nauseating odors that were reported by the neighbors.
The odors caused dizziness and vomiting in some inhabitants of this city, for which they alerted the communal authorities, who in turn, they requested support from specialized personnel from the Sanitary Action Office of the Seremi de Salud, according to the head of the ministry in the region, Andrés Cuyul.
“(…) As the Sanitary Action Office of Victoria, and from the central Temuco Health Seremi, we carried out an inspection, and we raised a sanitary summary,” Cuyul said.

In addition, the inspectors reviewed an area where grains are stored under plastic sleeves, which would also have generated the odors perceived by the inhabitants of Victoria.
