The fourth trial of Roger-Samir Kouider, judged for the murder of a man committed at Avignon (Vaucluse) on December 28, 2013, turned short. This Wednesday, the morning of the second day, the accused finally expressed before the Assize Court of Bouches-du-Rhône his will; to withdraw his appeal, reports Le Dauphiné released. The civil parties have accepted which puts an end to the legal procedure.

Roger-Samir Kouider is therefore definitively condemned; to 30 years of criminal imprisonment, the sentence pronounced during the three previous trials before the courts of assizes of Vaucluse, Gard and Hérault. He risked life imprisonment. since the Advocate General had this time requested to retain the state of legal recidivism. This is certainly what motivated his decision to change his mind.
