Attention, the following article contains (slight) spoilers about the series with Netflix, ” Warrior Nun “. If you have not seen it yet, we advise that you move on your way.

On July 2, Warrior Nun has landed on Netflix. An adaptation of the comic book Warrior Nun Areala, Ben Dunn. As a surprise to those who have not had the eye on the new Netflix, as its promotion would have been slight. In this series, it follows the story of Ava Silva (played by the excellent Alba Baptista), a young orphan quadriplegic who dies mysteriously. But his body finally returns to life, thanks to the Halo, a strange artifact in the hands of a group of nuns, warriors, the Order of the Sword Cross. The fact that she is a paralyzed again able to walk, supposed to embody a kind of backdrop is also very quickly evacuated. The bad boy totally superficial and very predictable story disappears (thankfully) very quickly.

Fortunately, the rest of the cast is rather well found, even if the characters are sometimes too predictable. Moreover, it is the main reproach one can make to this series, as the storyline is sometimes predictable, especially for (multi -) betrayals. We appreciate, however, particularly the end of the series, which plant perfectly the scenario for a sequel and does more than keep our attention. But suffice to say that we hope that the following will go a little faster, as the pace of this season 1 is sometimes too cushy. Sometimes you hear almost the flies in this convent,…
