The imminent arrival of Hurricane Delta on the beaches of the Mexican Caribbean set off alerts, mainly in the states of Yucatán and Quintana Roo, where various measures have been activated to protect the population and tourists in the area, among which the actresses Bárbara stood out. Regil and Sherlyn, who arrived in Tulum and Cancun since last week.

The meteorological phenomena of the last hours have not only endangered several citizens in the Caribbean states of Mexico, but have also overshadowed the plans of hundreds of people like the two celebrities who arrived at the paradisiacal port of Quintana Roo last week, where First, tropical storm Gamma hit and now Hurricane Delta, already a category 4 hurricane, will hit with excessive force.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) reported this morning that Delta intensified to one of the most powerful categories, which is why it predicted from intense rains to torrential points, electric shocks, strong winds with gusts of 150 to 190 km / h, waves of six to 10 meters high and a storm surge of one to two meters in the north of Quintana Roo and east of Yucatán.

Faced with the dangerous prediction, the National Civil Protection System issued a red alert or maximum danger for the states where it is already waiting for the arrival of the category 4 hurricane.

Faced with these events, the actresses, known for their intense activity on social networks, have already given clues as to what this situation holds for them.

Barbara canceled one of her live cardio classes and stressed the importance of staying safe in the face of the arrival of the hurricane in Tulum, where she has been since last weekend.

In addition, in a video, he explained part of the situation he is going through due to the measures taken by the local government. “They evicted us from the hotel, there are no flights, the hurricane is coming very hard and I have nowhere to stay,” she said, a little dismayed.

Already very early this Tuesday he had expressed interest in knowing the measures in the face of the meteorological situation in the Mexican Caribbean: “They say that there is going to be a hurricane here where I am, so we are seeing what measures to take.”

Sherlyn, for her part, has also taken shelter in the hotel in Cancun that she has occupied since last weekend.

“I haven’t had a hurricane since I was puberty. I’m a little nervous, but everything is going to be fine, people act very calmly, very responsibly, they are going to evacuate all the hotels, fortunately I have all my friends here, “began her story in her Instagram stories.

“I’m a little nervous for André,” she reiterated before giving some recommendations for the rest of the population and tourists who are in Cancun, Quintana Roo.

The SMN maintains the prevention zone for hurricane winds from Dzilam, Yucatán, to Tulum, Quintana Roo, including Cozumel, Quintana Roo, as well as a prevention zone for tropical storm winds from Dzilam to Progreso, Yucatán, and from Tulum to Punta Herrero, Quintana Roo.

The governor of the state of Quintana Roo, Carlos Joaquín, recommended that the residents stay at home until the emergency ends in the state.

He indicated that the evacuation process has already begun in Isla Holbox, Punta Allen, Cancun Hotel Zone, the tents of the Kumate Hospital in Cancun, in the hotel zone of Puerto Morelos, Punta Herrero, María Elena Island, Banco Chinchorro.

Will be around 5:00 p.m. when the Cancun and Cozumel airports, in Quintana Roo, end their operations until further notice.
