Novak Djokovic won his sixth Wimbledon title, beating ours in the final Matteo Berrettini, the first Italian ever to reach the final of the most important tennis tournament in the world. The Serbian, however, had to sweat the victory, which is his 20th in a Grand Slam tournament and appears in first place of all time alongside Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer.
In fact, Berrettini was able to assert himself on the Central Court, winning the first set at the tie-break, after a splendid comeback from 2-5. The balance was not lacking even in the following sets, but in the end the class and power of the number one player in the world became irrepressible for the Roman tennis player.
