Nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards for best album and best music video, the legendary regional music ensemble is said to be ready to return to the stage

Los Tigres del Norte are the musical group that raised the genre of Mexican regional music to an international level. With more than 12 Grammy Awards in their history, they now have the possibility of winning another two awards with their new album “Los Tigres del Norte en la Prisión Folsom”.
It was through a conference they gave to various media that the popular band stated that they feel very comfortable and considerably fortunate to have returned to what they like the most: being on stage and dedicating the songs to their audience. This is what Eduardo Hernández said:
There is a great emotion because at the time we return to the stage, but right now this pandemic has us punished. This is the first time we have gone far from our homes and we are also very excited about the nominations but I think it is very important to tell our audience that we must continue to take care of ourselves, be aware of what they tell us to be well all
They said they were especially grateful to have been nominated again to win a Latin Grammy and affirmed that, regardless of whether they win it or not, they feel very happy with their work this year, with everything and the complicated panorama they had to live through. the pandemic and for the electoral period of the United States:
We had not been together for a long time, since the rehearsals we had in March, we communicated through Zoom and we felt ready and with the opportunity to do new things for next year and also with that because here we had the opportunity again to return to enter the studio and we are very excited because we can already do that at least

They affirmed that what they missed the most during all this time was living with their fans but fortunately they were able to reach out to them with social networks and that gave them more motivation to continue creating fresh content for their audience to compensate for everything they could not do. because of the quarantine.
The Tigres also highlighted that they are very happy to have done social work by being part of various campaigns to promote that citizens, especially of Latino origin, in order to participate in the electoral process, regardless of ideologies and political current that they had. They claimed that they realized it was a success when they found it to be the closest elections in all of history:
We are very excited to be able to live together, to be able to go out to eat together and do things that we stopped doing eight months ago (…) We were very happy to be part of the Latino community and to be one of the figures who were invited to promote the vote

The legendary band’s nominations were given for the album “Los Tigres del Norte en la Prisión Folsom” where they dedicated songs to the inmates of said penitentiary , both women and men and they felt very happy to pay attention and fulfill the wishes of people who are restricted in their freedom and who have many stories to tell:
It took a long time to get the permits, it took a long time to do the organization to make this project a reality and that gives us double emotion. We did not think that they would nominate us in the two categories in which they did. I cannot say that we did not expect it because “Los Tigres del Norte” have always been in various projects but we were able to verify that in that jail, most of those inmates are Latino and that left us with a mixed feeling
When asked if they would like to address a message to the new generations of artists who are doing regional Mexican music projects, Luis Hernández affirmed that many of their successes were based on consolidating their projects and ideas, planning them and having the will to execute them but also think about the other and send a positive message:
First of all, that our audience likes it and that it leaves a positive message, is what we have discovered. Not just as a group but as individuals. We have that commitment to our people, we have a long time supporting our Latino people and our projects carry a message to help. New artists have to think about that, always leave a grain of sand and a contribution for whoever comes after them
