15 years in prison for a femicide from Los Angeles: he hid the victim under a double bed

Marco Pereda, author of the first femicide of 2021 in the Los Angeles commune, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

“The defendant and victim maintained a coexistence relationship and, in this context, both being at the home they shared, the defendant attacked the offended party with a sharp weapon”, he explained.

The magistrate indicated that after the death, the body was kept at home. For the crime, the sentence that the man must serve will be 15 years and one day.
