The electric Mercedes EQS gets a sporty AMG version. The EQS 53 4Matic+ is up to 761 hp, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and weighs almost 2.7 tons.

The announced AMG version of the electric Mercedes EQS will debut at the IAA in Munich 2021 with an electric drive unit that deploys two electric motors with a system output of 658 hp. The combined maximum torque is 950 Nm. These horsepower and Newton meters ensure that the almost 2.7-ton sports limousine sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, the top speed remains at 220 km/h.
Now Affalterbach still has some power on hand, because the optional AMG Dynamic Plus package pushes the power and maximum torque of the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 to 762 hp and 1,050 Nm respectively, reducing the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. becomes up to 3.4 seconds. The top speed is also increased to 250 km/h. The battery pack is not affected: the AMG version of the Mercedes EQS also has batteries with a capacity of 107.8 kWh, just like the EQS 450 and the EQS 580.
