After hiding likes for some users in 2019, Instagram will now offer to make it an option. You will be able to choose for yourself whether or not you want to disable the number of likes on a publication. The update will also concern Facebook which, we recall, owns Instagram. According to information from Techcrunch, this novelty will concern all countries but not yet all users.

So far, the question has been whether or not Instagram will reverse its decision to hide likes. It ultimately seems that the social network has not made a decision and will let its users make the decision.
