The PDI arrested four people with a record for the crime of wood theft perpetrating the same act in the commune of Paillaco, on a Forestal Arauco property.
Four people were arrested after being caught stealing native wood inside a Forestal Arauco property in the commune of Paillaco, Los Ríos region.
The operation was carried out by detectives from the Investigative Police who arrived at the Corte Alto property in the Huequecura sector, where they found 3 trucks loaded with wood and They headed in the direction of the regional capital.
The commissioner of the Bicrim of Valdivia, Mauricio Poblete, confirmed that the subjects were stealing the species inside a Forestal Arauco property in Paillaco.

According to the PDI, the fourth person involved was arrested when he was transporting native wood without origin, being controlled by the troops who were going to the Valdivia police complex.
The 4 vans were seized and the 4 adult detainees who have a police record for the same crime, were brought to justice. Meanwhile, the recovered wood will be delivered to the company Arauco.
