Sharjah (Union)
Yesterday, a delegation from the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs visited the exhibition “Sharjah – Japan 3”, which is currently hosted by the Sharjah Art Foundation and is located in its square in Al Mareijah area in Sharjah, and will continue until the first of next October. The delegation was headed by Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and head of the District and Villages Affairs Department, and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the District and Villages Affairs Department, and included employees of all departments in the department. The delegation of the department was briefed on the contents of the exhibition, which is held under the title “Overwhelming Tranquility: Isolation and Communication in Japanese Architecture.” Multiple composition and performance presented by Yoko Hasekawa. At the end of the tour, Al-Suwaidi praised the level of the displayed works, which reflect the level of maturity, mastery and depth in the artistic dimension of the paintings, their colors, homogeneity and integration during their presentation and their statement of the level of Japanese architecture, which was embodied in works inspired by the details of Japanese life. He praised the role of the Sharjah Art Foundation and the care it takes in various arts and what it provides to the community in terms of visual visions of new data about arts for friendly peoples.
