A former official of the judiciary, Juan Pablo Pirce, who kept an arsenal of war weapons, ammunition and explosives in his home, was sentenced to five years and one day in prison.
The man recognized the crimes in an abbreviated procedure.
Pirce will serve the sentence in the Mapuche community module in the Temuco prison, as requested by his defense.

Specifically, the crimes for which he was convicted are: illegal possession of a conventional weapon, illegal possession of a prohibited firearm, illegal possession of elements that constitute material for war use and illegal possession of an explosive device .
