2K revealed, as in every year, the cover players of the different editions of NBA 2K22, the next installment in the NBA video game simulation series, which features a woman –Candace parker– for the first time as a figure next to Luka Doncic, the historic Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant.
The Dallas Mavericks player and two-time NBA All-Star Luka Doncic was confirmed this Wednesday as the starring protagonist of the covers of the standard edition and the Multi-Generation digital pack.
“It is an honor to be on the cover of NBA 2K22. Thank you @ NBA2K!” The Slovenian guard posted on his Twitter account.
Thus, 2K Games re-placed his trust in a foreign figure to star in the stellar version of the game, following the presence of Giannis Antentokounmpo (NBA 2K19), Paul Gasol (2K17 ‘Spain Edition’), Danilo Gallinari (2K17 ‘Italy Edition’), Tony Parker (2K16 ‘France Edition’), Dennis Schroeder (2K16 ‘Germany Edition’) and Marc Gasol and Pau Gasol (2K16 ‘Spain Edition’)

On the other hand, in the United States, a special version of the standard edition will be available on the cover of which appears the WNBA champion and 6-time All-Star, Candace Parker.
This is the first cover featuring a woman in the history of the most popular and successful basketball simulator in video games.

Date and confirmed editions
NBA 2K22 will arrive on September 10 with three different editions: one standard edition (from $ 59.99), a Multi-Generation digital pack ($ 69.99) and a 75th Anniversary edition of the NBA ($ 99.99).

The standard edition will be available with two versions, one for the platforms of the previous generation of consoles (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC) and another for the new generation (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S). All can be found in physical and digital format for all platforms except PC, where it will be for sale only digitally.

The Multi-Generation digital pack will be available only in digital format while the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition will be available in physical and digital, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X
