Fernando Alonso: “Racing in places like Spa, Zandvoort and Monza is good for Formula 1 as these are places with a lot of history and passion for the sport. Monza in particular is one track where you can really hear the history of Formula 1, in some ways you can physically experience it. It is a very fast and smooth circuit and when you find the right set-up and the right pace it can be a lot of fun to ride. To win there you need a car that has good straight line speed due to the high speed nature of the circuit“.

Esteban Or with: “I always like to go to Italy. I have spent a lot of time there in my life, during my Formula 3 experience with Prema. I also experienced a lot of my karting there as a child. I speak Italian, I love Italian food, so I’m probably almost half Italian! Monza is a great circuit. As a team, we go there feeling confident enough and aiming to be competitive. Our low downforce package has proven to be strong enough, we hope we can get started quickly on Friday and have a solid foundation to work on“.
