This came during a visit to Moscow by Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, during which he met with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance military and defense cooperation, joint efforts to maintain security and stability in the region, and the most prominent common challenges facing the two countries.
Prince Khalid bin Salman said in a tweet on his Twitter account: “Today, I signed with His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Alexander Fomin, an agreement between the Kingdom and the Russian Federation aimed at developing areas of joint military cooperation between the two friendly countries.”
