Compulsory vaccination of part of the population is being introduced in another Russian region. Workers in the service sector, trade, catering, taxi drivers, people over 60 years old and representatives of other categories will be required to vaccinate in the Amur Region, according to website regional governments.
“The decree on this was signed by the chief state sanitary doctor in the Amur region Olga Kurganova,” the message says.
In addition, it is mandatory to vaccinate students over 18 years old, suffering from chronic diseases, medical and educational workers, social service organizations, volunteers, law enforcement officers, those who are subject to conscription, as well as those who work on a rotational basis.
As of June 30, 83 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the Amur Region per day, 45 patients recovered. In total, for the entire time of the pandemic in the region, 24,090 people fell ill, of which 23,213 recovered, and 305 died.
