IN DA HOODBrut, partner of “20 Minutes”, meets a “recluse” open to the world Alexis Robert, 81, presents the eco-place he founded — 20 Minutes – Brut
After working on farms, at the factory or in the first organic cooperatives in Brittany, Alexis Robert has withdrawn; in an ecoplace that he created himself; in the Brocéliande forest: “it’s a kerterre which was built a year ago about 12-15 years old. It’s a small round house of 10 square meters, made of straw, earth, lime and hemp, with a green roof. ÇI’ve been dreaming of living in a round house for 60 years, well çit’s there!”, rejoices the octogenarian.
“ I live a lot with the rhythm of nature”
“I am happy in my cabin. It’s simplicity. I don’t have water or electricity. Finally, the electricity, I have a little bit anyway with a battery, but sometimes it is empty, well & that doesn’t matter! I live a lot with the rhythm of nature. So right now, I’m going to bed at 20 hours. While in the summer, I only go to bed around 10:30 p.m.!”.

Although Alexis lives far from the hustle and bustle of the city, he is not, however, struck by it. of loneliness since nearly 2000 curious people visit it every year. In his school, he welcomes everyone, without judgement: “I receive a lot of homeless people, but çit also happens that I receive CEOs! Perhaps that is what makes me happiest, being able to share.
