Avengers: this hidden power of Mantis is revealed by a cut scene from Infinity War

Several years ago, we revealed that a cut scene revealed to us that Smart Hulk was to appear at the scene. the end of the movie Avengers: Infinity War (2018), this hybrid version of Bruce Banner and Hulk introduced in Avengers: Endgame (2019). And if many scenes have been deleted in Infinity War in order to smooth the overall story, one of these scenes in question notably revealed this hidden power of Mantis.

Avengers: Infinity Warbrought together characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and changed how viewers used to view iconic Marvel superheroes, but a deleted scene reveals that one of the Guardians of the Galaxy has a secret power. The 2018 film from Marvel Studios featured the full extent of Thanos’ power, with the Mad Titan ready to wreak havoc. annihilate half living beings of the universe to using the Infinity Stones. This film was thus the culmination of all previous Marvel films, the climax of the Infinity Saga.

And one of Infinity War‘s most iconic scenes is the clash between Thanos, Iron-Man, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy on Titan, while that other heroes were fighting their part of the fight across the universe. It is also in this film that the Guardians of the Galaxy first meet the superheroes of Earth, so it was an opportunity to show them interacting with each other and show the extent of their respective abilities.

First appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2(2017), Mantis’ powers in the MCU had been limited to his empathetic skills, being able to sense people’s feelings and alter them. This cut scene from Avengers: Infinity War then shows Spider-Man talking with Mantis, encouraging him to use his healing powers on the other unconscious Guardians. The healing powers that are shown in the scene in question would potentially make Mantis a great addition to the Guardians of the Galaxy team. By forcing Quill, Nebula, and Drax to regain consciousness, this cut scene shows that Mantis enabled the heroes to survive Thanos’ attack, at least until What the Mad Titan Happens to? put his real plan to work. execution.

With unfinished special effects, it’s hard to believe that this cut scene could have made it into the movie. the final edited version of the film, though it does provide useful interaction between Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Because after having given oneself bodies and souls to save them, the final version does not return to Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, nor does it show how they regain consciousness.

Mantis and the other Guardians of the Galaxy are known to be back in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder movie, with the team traveling through space with the Asgardian god after leaving ; Earth together at the end of Endgame. Perhaps this sequel will provide more insight into the true powers of Mantis, who has far more abilities than that in the comics.
