The National Ballet of Ukraine by Grand kyiv will be presented at the National Theater, directed by Alexander Stoyanov and with a cast of 35 dancers.
For the first time in the Dominican Republic, the National Ballet of Ukraine by Grand kyiv arrives with the emblematic piece “El Lago de los Cisnes”, next July 4 at the Main Hall of the Eduardo Brito National Theater.
Directed by the renowned director Alexander Stoyanov and with a cast that includes 35 outstanding ballet artists graduated from high-level choreography schools, most of them from the kyiv State Choreographic School (Ukraine). This majestic show comes to the country thanks to the renowned entertainment company BigStarSD.
The National Ballet of Ukraine by Grand kyiv is a leading company in the world ballet, at the level of the great theaters of the world such as the Bolshoi, the Kirov and the Paris Opera.   ;

The company is on tour in Poland, France, Norway, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, among other countries; and it arrives for the first time in the Dominican Republic thanks to BigStarSD.
Full of romance and beauty, Swan Lake is full of romance and beauty. It is considered the most spectacular choreography in the classical dance repertoire, due to the great dexterity and high technical capacity required of the dancers in the interpretation of the characters.
Based on the German tale The Stolen Veil by Johann Karl August Musäus and with the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake had its first performance on March 4, 1877 at the Bolshoi Theater (Moscow) and from that moment it became, until today, the most important and transcendent ballet work in the history of said artistic discipline. The music, plot, choreography, costumes, among other things, have elevated it as a unique piece of art.
It is the love story between Prince Siegfried and the friar Gil Odette, whom the wicked wizard Rothbart has condemned to be a swan during the day and a beautiful princess at night. Despite the tricks of the sorcerer and his daughter, the evil Odile, the prince will the impossible to twist fate and seal her love.
