Before being a megastar, Brad Pitt dabbled in Scientology. The actor learned about religion in the early 1990s from his then-girlfriend, actress Juliette Lewis , and was immersed in that cult for three years before finally breaking up with Lewis and the church for disagreeing with the “processes of initiation ”of the organization.

Former Pitt church supervisor Michael Mallen reminded The Sun how he insulted the actor and verbally abused him until he stormed out of the classroom. An action that was intended to push its members to the limit. “Brad was doing the therapeutic training routines,” said Mallen, who spent 40 years as a Scientologist before finally leaving in 2014 and writing a book, “Brainwashing,” about his time at church.
“His then girlfriend Juliette Lewis was there. I guess no one had harassed him before. I was going very hard on him, but that’s the point, taking the person where he no longer reacts and can be comfortably there ”. Fortunately for Mallen, Lewis was able to cajole Pitt at the time. “Nobody wants a celebrity to leave. If they hadn’t come back, they would have been in big trouble, ” Mallen recalled.
On the other hand, a Scientology source speaking to The Sun claimed that during the time Pitt was there, he underwent a “purification check” at the Portland Celebrity Center, spending hours in a hot sauna where he was assigned to a teenage girl who oversaw him.
The former follower, who wished to remain anonymous, recalled that Pitt visited the Scientology Celebrity Center in Portland instead of Los Angeles to avoid being found by the press.
There, he was assigned a “twin,” who was responsible for Pitt completing his courses. According to the former member of the church, she was a teenager in her 15s and the daughter of two loyal Scientologists.
“In the Church of Scientology, people are often paired up and held accountable for each other completing courses, so she sat in the sauna with Pitt every day for the month or so which was necessary to overcome it. I was definitely in the sauna with him, but there was nothing wrong with it. His parents were very involved and important in Portland Scientology, “the informant told the aforementioned medium.
The Oscar winner completed courses and programs in Los Angeles and Portland between 1991 and 1993, while dating Lewis, 47, who remains in the Church to this day.

The sauna sessions were part of the purification process “developed by Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard, consisting of high doses of vitamins, long saunas and exercise,” according to the document. According to the entity’s records, Pitt completed some therapies in July 1991 and a “special course in human evaluation” in May 1993.
Sam Domingo, former daughter-in-law of the tenor Plácido Domingo and former member of Scientology, confirmed some time ago to Radar Online that the actor underwent a controversial method aimed at drug abusers that is known as a “purification” or also the ” sweat box ”.
“Brad was recruited in the 1990s, around the time he and Lewis made a movie together.
