The opposition in Belarus remains under great pressure: a court in Belarus has sentenced the well-known regime critic Maria Kolesnikova to eleven years in prison.
Minsk – The Belarusian opposition activist Maria Kolesnikova * was sentenced to eleven years in prison almost a year after her arrest in the course of the protests against the ruler Alexander Lukashenko.
