Workshops at the Training School of the Central Electoral Board.
Thousands of young people and adolescents, students from different public and private schools , have participated in the workshops “My identity and our democracy”, offered by the Central Electoral Board (JCE), through its National School of Electoral Training and Civil Status (EFEC) in all the country’s municipalities.
The workshop “My identity and our democracy” It is part of a training program, designed by the academic body of the JCE, so that young people between the ages of 14 and 17 have concepts and clear ideas about the importance of democracy, identity and the quality that electoral processes should have.
The director of the program, Felipe Carvajal de los Santos, who leads the activities, reported that the purpose of these workshops is to inform the role of the Central Electoral Board as the institution that guarantees their right to legal identity and access to democracy.
