Colombia tied in the 90 minutes and lost on penalties against the Comoros team in the tournament Maurice Revello
Colombia played its first match in the Tournament Maurice Revello, formerly known as Toulon Hopes, which takes place in France. There, Colombia drew 1-1 in the 90 minutes of regulation and later lost in the tiebreaker penalty shoot-out against the Comoros team. The match was held at Stade Parsemain in Fos-sur-Mer, France. One of the luxury attendees was the central defender Yerry Mina who accompanied his brother Duván Mina, right back of the ‘coffee growers’ team.
Colombia opened the scoring five minutes into the match through Alexis Manyoma, the figure of the match. The goal came after Gustavo Puerta overflowed down the left wingand a precise center that ended in the attacker’s head to define in a great way stuck to the stick of the goalkeeper’s right hand.

The advantage on the scoreboard disappeared at minute 16 of the first half when Zaid Amir took a shot from long distance, the ball hit the crossbar and entered the back of the goal guarded by Juan Diego Castillo. Since then Colombia became the owner of the ball and repeatedly brought danger to Comoros, but the lack of precision prevented expanding the score.

In the second date of the national team championship in the sub-20 category, Colombia will face its similar Algeria on Friday, June 3 in the same stadium where they drew against Comoros. The ball will roll from 10:30 in the morning, Colombian time. This same day, but at 7:00 in the morning, Comoros will play against the leaders, Japan.
