In Italy today, Sunday 5 September 2021, they were registered 5,315 new cases of Covid-19 and 49 deaths of people infected with the virus. Yesterday 6,157 new infections and 56 deaths were reported. The data on new infections are based on 259.756tampons carried out (yesterday there were 331,350): the rate of positivity is al 2 percent, a slight increase compared to the 1.9 per cent recorded yesterday. There was a slight increase in both ordinary hospitalizations and intensive care.
As usual, the data are disseminated by the Ministry of Health and the Istituto Superiore della Sanità on the basis of the figures provided by the Regions. The people currently positive about Covid in Italy are136,702 (-337). People admitted to intensive care with the virus I am 572 (+3). THE hospitalizationsordinary in the hospital, however, they are in total 4,216 (+12).
