In Italy today, Thursday 1 July 2021, they are registered 882 new positives and 21 deaths for Covid. There were 776 new cases and 24 deaths yesterday. In total they were carried out 188,474 swabs, over 3 thousand more than yesterday, when there were 185,016. The positivity rate has gone up to 0.5 percent after yesterday’s 0.4 percent.
As usual, the data are disseminated from Ministry of Health and by the Istituto Superiore della Sanità on the basis of the figures provided by the Regions. The people currently positive at Covid are 49,358 (-1,083). The death toll amounts to 127,587. On the other hand, the healed are 4,083,843 (+1.941) for a total of 4,260,788 cases. The hospitalizations are still down, with the intensive therapies that are 18 less (yesterday -23) with 7 entries of the day, and drop to 229 total, while i ordinary hospitalizations are 21 fewer (yesterday -83), 1,532 in all.
