The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Jaragua hotel in the capital city, after the completion of the General Ordinary Election Assembly, in which the 14 representatives of the main business groups in the country were also elected. country that work for education, to accompany the new president of Educa.

For Educa, the country is experiencing a historic moment, described as unbeatable by the new president, which makes it possible to make education the engine of its development. The outgoing authorities were recognized at the ceremony, on whose behalf Samuel Conde, outgoing president, highlighted the institution’s commitment to continue shedding light on those aspects that can make a difference in the management of the public resources of the national education sector.

In addition to María Waleska Álvarez, the new board of directors is made up of Messrs. William Phelan, vice president; Yandra Portela and Juana Barceló, as treasurer and vice-treasurer, respectively, as well as such as Alejandro Peña Prieto and Arelis Rodríguez, in the capacity of secretary and deputy secretary.
