The battle between Epic and Apple continues.
Epic Games appealed the final decision in the grand trial against Apple of this year.
Last Friday’s ruling was a “mixed” result for both companies, even though Epic lost on most of the points it had tried to raise.
Late on Friday evening, the Epic boss, Tim Sweeney, shared his thoughts on Twitter and said the judgment “it’s not a win for developers or consumers“. In a series of messages, Sweeney claimed that Epic would”worn out“and later classified the result as a defeat.

Epic failed to prove that Apple acted as a mobile gaming monopoly, the judge decided Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in last week’s ruling, which means Apple can continue to run its App Store as it always has, while still taking a 30% cut in purchases.
The ruling meant that Apple had the right to initiate Fortnite from its marketplace and that Epic was to deliver 30% of the revenue.

Epic, however, has changed the App Store rules. Apple can no longer prevent apps from informing customers about alternative payment options outside the App Store.
It is not yet known exactly how Epic will attempt to overturn last week’s ruling.
