Prepare to relive horror and despair this fall, exclusively from the Epic Games Store.
The wait has been long, but for many it will surely have been worth it. For all those who do not succumb to despair as soon as they set foot in the dungeon, of course. Darkest Dungeon II finally announces its release date as a game of early access. After promising that the RPG would be available sometime in 2021, Red Hook Studios now confirms that we will be able to play it from October 26th on PC.
And in case anyone is not aware, know that the game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store temporarily. For as long as it lasts its early access, at least, given that its final version 1.0 will also be available in the rest of PC digital stores when it is released. The announcement of the date has been produced through social networks, with a game design and a quote from Edgar Allan Poe matching the Darkest Dungeon theme.
Darkest dungeon 2 will follow the premise of the original gameBut with new dungeons, new enemies, and new ways to cause explorers to succumb to madness, horror, and despair. A sequel announced back in 2019, which you can finally enjoy starting on October 26. And if you haven’t tried the first game yet, this is our Darkest Dungeon review.
