The trial of twelve men has begun. this Monday before the assize court for minors in Essonne. They must answer, until December 2, for “rape in meeting” and “complicity; gang rape.” They are accused of having violated a 17-year-old girl, when they were minors, on May 28, 2013 in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (Essonne), reports TF1.
Ten other young people, aged under 16 at the time of the events, will be tried in 2023 for the same reasons but also for “abstaining from preventing a crime’ ». They will be heard as witnesses during this first trial.
